Skechers slip resistant and non slip work shoes
Skechers slip resistant work shoes give you the comfort Skechers is famous for, with a sole made to grip on wet and greasy floors. Every style here is from Skechers Work, Skechers' own work range, with no toe cap, so they feel and look like everyday Skechers trainers. Almost every style is certified to EN ISO 20347, the European standard for occupational footwear, and many also have fuel and oil resistant soles. Choose from non slip work trainers, slip-on work shoes, work loafers, slip resistant clogs and a waterproof work boot, for women in UK 2 to UK 9 and men in UK 5.5 to UK 15. Only styles in stock are shown.
Why slip resistant footwear matters
Slips, trips and falls on the same level are the most common cause of non-fatal workplace injury reported by employers in Great Britain, making up 30% of reported injuries to employees in 2024/25, according to the HSE. Every slip costs time off, cover and paperwork, and the right footwear is one of the simplest controls a business can put in place. In a large NHS trial of more than 4,500 staff, published in 2021, staff given high-grip slip resistant work shoes had a 37% lower slip rate than colleagues in their usual shoes. Compliant footwear that staff are happy to wear all shift helps protect your people and your business.
Who wears Skechers slip resistant shoes?
- Kitchen staff and chefs: slip resistant, fuel and oil resistant soles for wet and greasy kitchen floors, with Memory Foam for long services.
- Bar and hospitality staff: smart black work trainers and loafers that grip on spilt drinks and polished floors.
- Nurses, care workers and healthcare staff: lightweight, cushioned work trainers, slip-on styles and slip resistant clogs, with white styles for clinical uniforms.
- Estates, facilities and cleaning teams: hard-wearing slip resistant trainers and a waterproof work boot for wet floors, washrooms and outdoor areas.
- Retail and warehouse staff: all-day comfort for shop floors and long walks between aisles.
Shop Skechers non slip work shoes by style
- Non slip work trainers: the biggest part of the range, in lace-up, no-tie lace and slip-on styles, mostly in black to suit uniform policies, with white, navy and charcoal options.
- Slip resistant work shoes and loafers: smarter black styles for front of house, reception and retail.
- Slip resistant clogs: lightweight Arch Fit clogs you can slip on and off, for men and women.
- Waterproof work boot: a slip resistant leather boot with a waterproof upper and memory foam, for outdoor and wet work.
- Slip-ins: hands-free slip resistant work trainers you step straight into. See all Skechers Slip-ins.
Skechers comfort for long shifts
Most styles have a Memory Foam or Air-Cooled Memory Foam insole, many have a roomier Relaxed Fit, and selected styles add Skechers Arch Fit, which Skechers describes as a podiatrist-certified insole and arch support system. Max Cushioning styles add extra cushioning underfoot, and selected work trainers are machine washable. Many styles also have an energy absorbing heel to soften each step on hard floors.
Slip resistant work shoes or safety shoes?
Slip resistant work shoes certified to EN ISO 20347 have no toe cap, so they are lighter and look like everyday trainers. If your job needs toe protection, choose Skechers safety shoes or Skechers safety boots certified to EN ISO 20345 instead, which also have slip resistant soles. Your employer's risk assessment will say which you need.
Sizes and wide fit
Women's styles run from UK 2 to UK 9 and men's from UK 5.5 to UK 15, with half sizes in most styles. Selected men's and women's work trainers come in a wide fit, and Relaxed Fit styles give extra room across the foot. Each product page shows the sizes in stock.
Delivery and returns
Most Skechers Work styles are held in our own UK warehouse and are dispatched the same day on orders placed before 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Other styles are sent from our supplier's UK warehouse and arrive in 2 to 4 working days with standard delivery, or 1 to 2 working days with express delivery. Standard UK delivery costs £3.99, free on orders over £60. Unworn items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, and exchanges are free.
