    leather desert boots

    I love wearing desert boots in dry weather, but wet.....? So leather desert boots are the answer. I love them. The only problems are: what to put on them to waterproof them which doesn't make them a much darker brown: and whether I can do anything to extend the life of the soles, because they always wear out long before the uppers. At this price though I can live with two minor problems.

    By far the most comfortable shoes I have ever possessed. I need a wide fitting and sometimes the choice can be limited, Availability in half-sizes also helps here. Rapid and courteous service from Schuperb, including a sizing hiccup which was promptly resolved. I already have a pair of Padders Fire and after well over a year signs of wear to soles are minimal.

    Another fine pair of shoes from Padders. I usually look for Padders for the wide fitting and have never been disappointed. Prompt service as well. Soles are always hard-wearing.

    These are nice comfy boots in a wide (perhaps a little too wide) fitting.
    I had to spray them with Fabsil to make them waterproof, as they are nubuck leather.
    There is a nice leather detail on the heel, which the pictures don't show.
